For four days the Apure state was the scene of the Seventh World Poetry Festival in honor of the poet William Osuna, activity programmed by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, on the bicentennial of our independence. The word, verse, poetry, took Guasdualito populations in Páez municipality; Achaguas in the municipality of the same name; Biruaca in the municipality Biruaca, culminating in San Fernando, Apure state capital, May 27th, flooding and poetry, apureña land.

On Tuesday, the activity was held in Achaguas, municipality Achaguas, with the completion of a special program for Live TV, with the poet Ramón apureño Rattia.
On Wednesday 26, continued the poetry festival in the town of Biruaca, specifically in the facilities of the Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez, UNESR, with the recital of local poets: William Zerpa, José Ramón González Mejías and Romulus Eudoro .
To conclude the Seventh International Poetry Festival in the region apureña, gathered in the auditorium of the Universidad Experimental de los Llanos Ezequiel Zamora, UNELLEZ, international guests: Edward Baugh, Jamaica and Jorge Campero, of Bolivia, in addition to the participation of: Edgar Benaín Ribas, Aldo Márquez, José Ramón Mejías, William Zerpa, Jose Bueno and Eudoro Romulo Gonzalez, representing the state.
This poetic activity that left an invitation for the year 2011, was adorned with the performance of Simon Bolivar Dance Group and the group always Apure Apure. With the delivery of a gift to the international guests and the final words of the Director General of the Regional Office, Eladio Sequera, the curtain fell for the seventh International Poetry Festival in Apure state.
