The Art Gallery and Store in San Fernando

This coming Saturday, June 19, at five in the afternoon, at the premises of the Art Gallery and Store, located on Calle Sucre between Piar and Madariaga streets behind the Cathedral of San Fernando, the exhibition opens Visual Artists, log output of 27 artists in this first phase of Visual Artists of Venezuela. The Art Shop Gallery and the Art Network Foundation is an agency attached to the platform of Image Arts and Space, IART, the Cultural Office of Apure state of Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, MPPC.
"The Visual Artists Project Venezuela, emerged with the idea of \u200b\u200bshowing the human dimension of the resident artists inside the country. Throughout the territory there are true examples of perseverance, creativity and good work, men and women in Venezuela that despite the limited conditions under which they live or work, lack of materials or resources, vast distances with respect to training facilities plastic, lack of information or documentation, still believe in art as a form of expression and in many cases, as a way of life.
The project involves the collection of data and audiovisual and photographic recording artists throughout the country. The products produced documentary information are: the testimony of visual artists in video, which are posted on the website of the Institute of the Arts, image and space, IART. It will also be distributed to television stations and regional libraries. Furthermore, the interviews have provided the basis for publications on the artists and their works "(ministeriodelacultura.gob.ve).
Jenny Reed, Visual Arts Coordinator, Cultural Office of Apure state, said that in addition to the exhibition, there will be a gathering in the morning on Saturday, with the creators and IART representatives who will visit the state occasion of this cultural activity
